Stereo and Multi-Channel Preamplifier

Designed for the dedicated music lover, the C45 features ultra-short signal paths in conjunction with state-of-the-art silent electromagnetic switching to virtually eliminate preamp noise. A low noise, high-performance phono preamplifier is included. Dual six-channel inputs allow control of the latest multi-channel audio formats, including DVD-Audio, SACD, Dolby Digital and DTS Audio/Video.

 

The C45 features a 2-stage electronic volume control, a large, easy-to-read frontpanel display, and an assignable balanced input. Input level trims and fiber-optic / LED frontpanel illumination provide complete, convenient control.  No wonder C45 was named as one of Stereophile Magazine's Recommended Components for 2005 and 2006.

SELECTABLE INPUT TITLES

The displayed name of each input of the C45 may be changed to match the

available sources. Names are chosen from a selection of 14 different titles.

Additionally, the sensitivity for each input is adjustable to enable a uniform volume level between source components.

VOLUME LEVEL

Master volume control for all channels is achieved through a sophisticated

optical encoder. Utilizing light pulses ensures accuracy and eliminates

effects of mechanical wear.

BASS AND TREBLE CONTROLS

Precision tone shaping circuitry is provided to enable adjustment of the

acoustic balance of the sound. A bypass switch completely removes the tone

controls from the audio signal path.

WIRELESS REMOTE CONTROL

An IR remote control is included. Remote keypads and external sensors

are available.

HEADPHONE JACK

A high quality headphone amplifier is built in for private listening.
